To our valued patients:
We are now open and available to provide new and ongoing denture care. Our commitment right now is to provide you with denture care, as efficient as possible, while implementing mandatory safety protocols. A high-level of infection control is routine at our facility, and we are now prepared and fully equipped to screen and have measures in place to significantly reduce your risk of any exposure to the coronavirus at our clinic:
- We are following protocols and recommendations set out by the BCCDC for health care providers.
- We have enhanced personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect both the team and our patients, N95 masks, face shields, gowns, head cover, and gloves.
- We have rigorous cleaning practices, physical barriers and physical distancing markers throughout the office.
- All patients and staff are pre-screened for COVID-19 symptoms; those exhibiting symptoms will be asked to stay home per government guidelines.
- We are maximizing social distancing by having patients remain in their cars until their scheduled appointment time.
Your comfort and safety are our first priority in this initial phase of re-opening. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and adjust our operations as needed. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this process. We look forward to seeing you soon!

COVID-19 APPOINTMENT PROTOCOLS AND GENERAL INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS
- We currently have a "no visitor” policy for patient appointments with the exception only for one support person when a patient cannot function alone. The person accompanying will be screened and must wear a mask for the duration of the visit.
- The BCCDC recommends wearing a face mask in public settings. At Pacific Denture Centre a mask is encouraged but not mandatory.
- To limit traffic in waiting rooms when you arrive, please call the office. If you do not have a cell phone, arrive on time for your appointment and stand by the front door, our receptionist will escort you in. We will have you enter when an exam room is ready.
- New patient charts can be emailed or downloaded from our website and filled out at home before your appointment.
PRE-SCREENING QUESTIONS YOU WILL BE ASKED BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
- Do you have any cold or flu-like symptoms?
- Have you returned from travel (including travel within Canada) in the last 14 days?
- Have you had exposure to a confirmed positive case of COVID-19?
