We recommend regular examinations to monitor changes in your mouth, gums, tissues, and underlying bone, as well as the condition and fit of your dentures. Early attention to changes can help prevent discomfort and more complex problems in the future.

What Happens During a Recall Visit?

Your denturist will assess your overall oral health and the condition of your dentures, including:

• Updating your medical and dental history
• Examining your oral cavity, head, and neck
• Assessing the health of your oral tissues and underlying bone
• Checking the fit, stability, bite, and function of your dentures
• Inspecting your dentures for cracks, chips, worn areas, or loose or broken teeth
• Cleaning and polishing your dentures upon request
• Reviewing proper denture and oral hygiene practices
• Discussing any concerns and recommending treatment or maintenance when needed
